The Yurt

Minimum Stay: 3 nights

The Yurt is a space used by nomadic people in Mongolia.  One of the most fascinating designs from around the world is the nomadic dwelling of some indigenous population groups in the Tibetan highlands, amongst them the descendants of the Mongolians.  They called their tent-like structures Gers.  They are also known, and perhaps better known, as Yurts.

It is their heritage to us that we are able to holiday in the most beautiful surroundings of Casa El Morro with a touch of adventure and freedom enjoying this magical exquisite accommodation.

The privileged location of this alternative living space has views to the volcanoes and gardens.   The round structure  is built entirely of natural resources and raised above the ground on a wooden platform of stilts allowing the space to breathe.

The central part of the roof is supported by beautifully carved Tibetan poles holding the crown which is a hand painted Mandala.  Inside we provide luxurious soft silks,  kilims and lush materials and it can be divided  to  accommodate either  a family or a couple.
