Yoga
The word Yoga means “Union” – the union with our higher potential our higher self.
Starting to practise yoga is to welcome a gradual process that raises awareness in all aspects of human nature. Yoga is an ancient practice that leads to a state of wholeness.
We offer weekly Kundalini Yoga classes by Yogi Bhajan with an International KRI Certified Yoga Teacher.
Our classes are customised and in small groups. Through breathing techniques and meditation you will learn to get an experience of deep inner calm and self confidence. This practice makes you radiant, peaceful and strong so that you can live up to the challenges of life and succeed.
About Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga is also called the yoga of consciousness. It consists of simple yogic techniques that can be practised by everyone. Some of its positive effects are experienced immediately. It keeps the body in shape and trains the mind to be strong and flexible allowing the practitioner to deal better with changes and stress. There is an increased capacity of oxygenation in the blood flow to the glands that results in an elevation of awareness and vitality. Through breathing techniques and meditation one can achieve peace of the mind.
Every beginner student participates at a pace that suits his or her flexibility and strength. It is recommended to wear white, wide and comfortable clothing, preferably of cotton or other natural fiber. It is better to practise without socks to help stimulate the meridians and to detox the body through the feet.
To begin practising yoga is a gradual process that elevates the consciousness, enabling us to experience all the aspects of being a natural human being. Yoga means union with God.
Our classes can be individual or in small groups.
